Failed generations: credits back automatically

If a generation fails, or does not finish within 90 seconds, the credits it used are returned to your balance automatically. You do not need to ask. Each refund appears as its own entry in your credit history (Settings → Credits). A background job also checks every minute for generations that got stuck and returns their credits.

A drawing that was generated but that you do not like is not a failed generation. Use the threshold slider or regenerate, and if a result looks broken, write to us and we will look at it.

Purchases: full refund within 14 days if unused

You can get a full refund within 14 days of a purchase if none of the credits from that purchase have been used. This applies to credit packs, the first payment of a monthly or yearly plan, and each renewal payment.

After 14 days, or once any credits from the purchase have been used, payments are not refundable, except where the law where you live requires otherwise or as our Terms of Service say (for example, if we discontinue a feature you paid for).

Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep the credits already granted until they expire. If a renewal went through that you did not want, write to us within 14 days and, if none of its credits have been used, we will refund it.

How to ask for a refund

Email support@patentstroke.com from the address on your account with your order number (Settings → Payments). Refunds go back to the original payment method through our payment processor; the time it takes to reach you depends on your bank or card issuer. The credits from a refunded purchase are removed from your balance.

If something went wrong with a payment, please write to us before opening a dispute with your bank, so we can fix it quickly.

Free credits

Free credits are a gift and have no cash value, so they cannot be refunded or exchanged.
